Artwear by Gro was established in 2011 by Gro Aakenes Sævig and Anne Tellefsen. The Brand builds upon Gro Aakenes Sævigs years of experience within textile techniques, expressions and areas of usages. Her aim is to produce clothing with good durability and to work according to the three K's;
* Kvinne (Woman) - Unique, pure and comfortable garments both trendy and classic, timely and timeless. This enables the use of the clothing in both formal and non-formal occasions - all seasons.
* Kunst (Art) - Art History applied throughout her unique visual expressions, and comes with a small explanation with each garment.
* Kvalitet (Quality)- The clothes are made of high-quality and throughoutly tested materials which hardly wrinkle. All fabrics are of natural qualities such as cotton, wool and viscose. You can wear them with pants or as a dress.
All garments are of limited edition and are numbered in the neck. Our aim is to provide our customers with a taste of Art History - along with Gro's own expressions. The garments are grouped in collections inspired by different periods in the Art History. We have chosen to start with Renaissanse and Art Nouveau - two very different style periods. These were released in may/june 2012.
The upcoming collection is not far away. It will be inspired by optical art - OpArt.
The collections can also be sent abroad - see "Buy online". There will be an additional fee of kr 275/EUR 37,50 per delivery for foreign customers.
